Industry & Insights
This year we were thrilled to sell out our Summer Season for the first time ever – growing our audience count by over 31% from 2024! Thanks to wonderful leadership and a refreshed marketing approach, I am so happy to have helped share the inspiring stories of Hairspray, Rent, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical with Rehoboth Beach audiences this summer, along with all of the great work we do year-round!
In the last 12 months since taking my marketing business full-time, I’ve helped clients generate more than $7 million in sales across my portfolio, with a cumulative average growth rate of roughly 8%.
This past weekend, I had the opportunity to volunteer as a photographer at the Southern Delaware Wine, Food, and Music Festival—an event that not only celebrates the finest sips and eats in our region…

Ken Sharples of La-Di-Da approached Evan Hrivnak in January with big plans for the summer. After securing retail space from Freddie's Beach Bar at 3 S 1st Street, Ken began planning the Memorial Day grand opening.
RB Convenience is a popular downtown convenience store, but in the off-season, demand falls. Lavel made them stand out with a unique product offering that draws a crowd of its own. With more than 300,000 visitors in the summer and only 4,000 residents in the off-season, we gave the locals another reason to choose RB Convenience.
Let us just say that Rehoboth Beach is not the easiest place to run a business. With seasonal demand that brings more than 6 million people to small-town Rehoboth and off-seasons with no more than 4,000 locals, you have to run a business differently. Just as customers come and go, so too do the staff.
After over 26 years in business, Sammy’s Kitchen decided that breakfast, lunch, and dinner were not enough. After the Royal Treat closed, Sammy’s Kitchen leaped on this opportunity to fill the void. Lavel has been working with Sammy’s from idea generation to implementation.
We love what the Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market does for our community. As a non-profit helping unite skilled artisans, farmers, and chefs connect with with eager consumers, we extended a hand to support their mission.
Profits are made not simply by attracting customers but by retaining them. While businesses tend to prioritize customer acquisition, there should be an equal, if not greater, emphasis on customer retention. Why? Because the effective cost of customer acquisition decreases with increased customer lifetime value.
