La-Di-Da Partners With Lavel To Open First Store In Downtown Rehoboth Beach

Ken Sharples of La-Di-Da approached Evan Hrivnak in January with big plans for the summer. After securing retail space from Freddie's Beach Bar at 3 S 1st Street, Ken began planning the Memorial Day grand opening. While Ken does not come from a retail background, he has extensive and impressive experience in the entertainment industry. With an eye for design and some experience picked up working at a local clothing store, he had all the tools to start a successful store.

La-Di-Da hired Lavel to manage several projects in preparation of Memorial Day. The first project was a simple website that acts as a landing page for intrigued buyers. Second Lavel established La-Di-Da's digital footprint to generate awareness and increase foot traffic. Third Lavel managed branding, creating a series of graphics packages tailored for digital and physical channels. Finally, Lavel managed social media for the store's Launch, utilizing community marketing strategies and a giveaway to grow our following.

Lavel's role in La-Di-Da's early success cannot be overstated. Their strategic use of social media, tapping into local and regional LGBTQ networks, generated significant interest and foot traffic. The early sales victories not only provided La-Di-Da with the resources and confidence to inspire further investment and business development but also underscored the crucial role of Lavel in their success.

In addition to our early startup services Lavel acts as an advisor encouraging experimentation, assisting with merchandising, technical questions, and more. Furthermore, Lavel tapped into it's network of reporters to get La-Di-Da featured in The Cape Gazette!
