Lavel Donates Free Web-Management and Consulting to the RB Farmers Market

The RB Farmers Market is a staple for Rehoboth Beach locals and tourists alike. The farmers market brings our community together by uniting local artisans with fruitful consumers. Early on, Lavel forged a partnership between the RB Farmers Market and the RB Convenience Store. Soon after, we recognized a gap in their digital marketing and offered to help.

The RB Farmers Market had a website that was roughly 10 years old. Compared to the competition and other websites in the area, it was not practical for attracting buyers or sellers, nor was it equipped with features to accept donations, for instance. The RB Farmers Market hired Lavel to build a new website. After completing the project, we offered a variety of free services to give them a competitive edge.

At Lavel we think it crucial that the Farmers Market has an interactive events page and donations tab. Although the original project proposal did not include these features, we offered to supply and manage them for free. Our goal was to go above and beyond to support the RB Farmers Market mission, as we believe in the power of community.

After completing the project, we stuck around and helped the management team with managing their social media profiles. We recognize how difficult it can be to learn these tools independently, and we also recognize that the Farmers Market volunteers have little time to learn about these powerful tools. Lavel extended and hand and helped with posting, scheduling, and creating content.
